KrAZ-260 is a three-axle off-road truck designed for transportation of goods, personnel and towing trailers on off-road and highways of all categories.
The development of the KrAZ-260 off-road truck began at the design bureau of the Kremenchug Automobile Plant in the 1960s under the leadership of the chief designer V.V. Tabolin.
Serial production began in 1981 and was carried out in parallel with the KrAZ-255B1. KrAZ-260 was intended to replace the KrAZ-255B vehicle. The production of the KrAZ-260 lasted until 1993, a total of 15,279 units were produced.
There are two types of trucks in fashion: with a permanent differential lock (green) and a switchable one (light brown). Differences in color, wheels and performance characteristics.
